This polarization optic is used for in-process control and product development of balloon catheters.
The balloon will be manually supported in the designated opening and can be inspected from all sides as required.
The polarization filter is creating reflections that will help to evaluate the consistency of the wall thickness and cone geometry. Deficient products can easily be identified and rejected.
